Hello alltogether,


first i want to introduce myself. My name is Pascal and i m new to this Forum...


I ve some business question.. i ran several time into Problems with Piracy and it is always very frustrating to see people take pirate copies and not pay a price less equal $5 ...


Is there a way to punish these criminals?


Apple Support said they won't help because thirt party piracy is not violating their policy.

But Apple takes 40% of Revenue, that ***** 😟


I would like to punish the filehosters and/or people sharing pirate copies of Apps.


Does anybody know how that could be made possible?

Maybe some of you are interested in a collective treat of this problem?

Look into receipt verification. Have your app examine the receipt to be sure it is valid.

You are not specific about how or what is being pirated. Do you think those people would have paid for it anyway?

No, i dont think that these people are customers.. but how to validate an Paid App wihtout inAPPs ?


Sorry, it really nags me.. $5 or less is a coffee in starbucks..it hurts to see you are spending several thousand dollars, and some dump ***** host your App outside of App Store :/


I would like to punish them, but i dont know how. It is not satisfying just to take an App down from Server.. i would prefer an money regulation...

A paid app has a receipt that can be validated.
