I have created a sandbox test account to test IAP but when I try to click on the email received in that account and try to verify, it comes up with the attached error message. Any idea what could be the issue? 😕

There is no need to include a 'real' email address for a test user. It needs to be 'valid' like zzz@fff.ccc but not real.
That's ok, but then that would mean that the verification email is just dummy and is actually not required to be verified, in that case when I try to use the test user on a device iTunes cant authentiate it. 😕

Right, in that case when I try to signin within the settings of the device with Sandbox account, it should authenticate yeah? But it doesnt...
When you use the sandbox not the production environment, the sandbox does not try to authenticate the user. That is why the email does not need to be a valid email. When you try to use a test user in the production store then the system may try to authenticate the user before failing.
Ok, if that is the case then how am I supposed to test the IAP with a sandbox user? Because everytime I try to go through the puchase mechanism it says "Incorrect Password" but I know I am typing the correct password.
So I seem to have finally figured it out, it weird though - All the sandbox accounts seem to work now, its just not letting me sign in for the first couple of times and then I keep on trying until it finally says that you have tried too many times and suggests to retrieve the password. After that it lets me sign in. No idea why this is happening/...
