IAP Clarification

We have an app being developed that requires some clarification on the licensing terms for IAP.

The app is a reflection of the website which allows users to add money to a wallet and spend money to view content.

We want the app to allow users to continue buying content with the money they already have on the website. All this would entail is sending a message to a server that already has all the information needed.

The IAP terms seem to suggest that making an app under this model goes against the license, but seeing as the money has never been generated through the app, we need clarification on if this app will be allowed.

Is the content consumed within the app? If so, you MUST use in-app purchases. If not, you CANNOT

use in-app purchases. If the user joins a website OUTSIDE of the app, and consumes the content provided

anywhere via the web, then in-app is not needed nor appropriate. It sounds like what you are suggesting is

in fact an account based delivery system. This is a gray area and will require you to make clear to app review

that content is available both in and out of the app.

You might be able to operate under 11.14.
