Possible to downgrade to 1.0.1?

Hi,

I cannot find clear informations if it is possible to downgrade the watch if in any case I would need to?

I just find the information "Devices updated to watchOS beta may not be restored to earlier versions of watchOS..." in the watchOS beta Software Installation Guide which is not a real yes or no :-p

Thanks ;-)

Neither iOS nor watchOS devices can be downgraded.

Like the other devices, you need a cable. how are you supposed to install the software wirelessly if none of the device drivers are running? No i am not aware of anyone having a cable beside apple or apple stores.

Setup a Send In Repair via the Apple Chat Support saying it just won't boot or something. They will ship you out a box free of charge overnight and you can send it in with overnight service and usually same day turn around with the O/S Restored to 1.01. I just did this with Apple so I know it works.

I upgraded to iOS 9 beta 2 and it changed the policy on my iPhone 6 from Verizon back to Sprint. I switched carriers and had Sprint unlock my phone so I could use it with Verizon. I downgraded back to iOS 8.4 and restored with a backup to see if this would fix the issue and it didn't of course. I then called Apple tech support and spoke with a senior advisor and he submitted an RTA to change the policy on the phone back to Verizon. I am running iOS 9 beta 2 again to see if it works. If not, I will be downgrading again and have another RTA submitted to change the policy and see if that works.

you can
