iphone showing up as iPod Touch in iOS devices page - won't install iOS 9

Hi,


My iPhone is showing up under the iPod Touch section of the Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles section of the devices page. It also won't install iOS 9 I get a 3014 error.

Any ideas?

Figured out that 3014 is the hosts file error, but I don't have anything in my hosts file. I tried a different DNS server too. I can't ping gs.apple.com.

Are you sure you added the correct UDID? Can you try to re-add the device?

I am seeing this as well with an iPhone 6. It is showing up as an iPod touch in the devices list.

I disabled it and added again and same result.

The UDID is definitely correct.
