Installed iOS9 but can't sync with iTunes

I just completed installing iOS9, Beta 1 on my iPhone 6 Plus. It was successful, I was able to boot back up, however when I start to sync with iTunes to restore all my old settings, my device just constantly reboots. I have to force stop it by overriding that reboot with a system reset.

Any ideas on what is happening?

Thanks!

Chris

I also, was exactly the same state.

However, if it is left without stopping, iphone6p was them himself shut down.

Then restart, itunes sync began again.

Although all of the app does not still return, the placement of the application has been reproduced, the application is made during the copy.

thanks.

Same thing. Most serious problem I've ever had with a beta iOS.

Seems that a clean install would work, but I don't want to lose everything.

Any other ideas before I restore 8.3?

Don't bother with a clean install. After 5 days of attempting backups from any version I could find, I finally gave up and decided to do a "new iphone" restore. The same problem. As soon as I try to bring over even 1 APP it freezes and I'm forced to restart.

Has anyone figured out how to get your backup onto your iPhone 6 plus after upgrading to IOS 9 beta? Seriously, Ive not been able to use my phone is the last 5 days because it's constantly join a state of doing nothing but freezing. I have let it sit for over 13 hours and still nothing. When I open the force quit window it shows iTunes stopped working, so I am forced to restart over and over and over. I am currently on restart 47. I'm not kidding.

I have tried using my iPhone 6 plus back up - freezes

I've tried using my business partners backup - freezes

I got desperate and tried using my iPad Air 2 - it started, it actually dumped my 630 APPs randmanly onto pages (no longer in assigned folders) and I thought I can deal with that "I'll just reassemble the folders manually - I'm not picky at this point", but sadly after a 13 hour wait only one APP transferred.

HELP! Any suggestions?

Easiest way I found to resolve this was to browse to my mobilebackups folder and move all the contents (ie iOS 8 backups) into another folder. Then when I tried to sync to iTunes it created fresh iOS 9 backup rather than attempt to incrementally backup on top of an old iOS 8 one and synching then worked fine. I had no need to restore my device or anything. Maybe that will work for you?

I was able to successfully sync 8400 songs after a factory restore by syncing over wifi instead of tethered. When tethered my iPhone 6 would get extremely hot and after 100 or so songs would start the continuous reboot. Try the wifi sync and see if that works.

I was having the same problem, and the wifi sync worked for me, too. Thank you!!

I hadn't used this feature in so long that I forgot it was an option; I never had good luck with it back when it was first introduced so I pretty much just gave up on it and stuck with USB synching.

It took much longer of course, and I did have to restart the sync one time after about 4000 songs, but on the second try (after a reboot to stop the Music app from crashing on launch), it successfully completed synching the remainder of my 6000+ selected songs.

iPhone6 128GB iOS 9 public beta 3

Yeah, having trouble syncing.

First it would be stuck at the backup stage. I hade to turn off backup through the commandline. Then it would sync apps randomly and freeze at stage 5.

I'm on ios 9 beta 5 and ipad 3rd gen.

i have a similar problem

is there a way to sync apps with iTunes instead of downloading from AppStore when you restore an iTunes backup?

I Have all my apps in my iTunes library but every time I restore a backup they are downloaded from AppStore and not synced from my iTunes library. That doesn't happen with iOS 8
