I have recently noticed that some apps have a background image when viewing them on the App Store. Also some developers also have a customized background when you select "more by this develop" option (e.g. Adobe).
How do we set a background on the App Store?

As far as I know, that has to happen by invitation. It's not documented anywhere, so I assume there's no way to do it yourself. Just put your app in the store, and if Apple thinks your app is worth having a custom page design, they'll probably contact you directly.
Adobe is clearly a top-tier client, with special treatment the average dev can only envy, so no, there is no option to self-set a background in that case.
