Restore process to ios9 stuck at aprox 10%

Anybody having same problem?

Trying to install thru the restore process. coming from 8.4 beta 3. now it hangs at 5-10% and nothing happens.

I´ve tried to restore back to both 8.3 and 8.4 beta3 vith same result.

Ideas anybody?

Same issue here too.

My device is an iPhone 6+.

I tried 8.3 and 9.0 several times, including "factory reset" and "update" via ⎇+click in iTunes.

What device do you have problems with? Have you tried a different mac (I'm preparing to do this now)?

EDIT:

I found some stuff on the console which might be interesting (I removed some IDs):

Seems like something goes wrong while communicating whith apple servers (line 05f). I've double checked, that the device is listet on our development devices list.

Update:

Switching to a different computer fixed the issue (Update still in progress, but the device is now way beyond 10% mark). The console errors from line 1 to 8 also appear on that device, but the com.apple.usbmuxd issues do not occure.

I would guess rebooting or changing something at your USB setup (remove all devices/hubs e.g.) might help you as well.

Thank you for your answer.

My issue is with a iphone 6 plus 128gb device.

I´m in the process of trying from another mac. i succeded installing ios9 on a iphone 5s.

unfortuallyn i need to go to my other job. i´ll be posting back asap :-)

/Erik

I'm having the same issue with an iPhone 6. I'm restoring to 8.3 and will try again after removing all USB devices. I'll report back afterwards.

No luck. I tried both Update and Restore options and both fail at about the 10% mark. Any other recommendations?

Are you using the latest iTunes and Mac OS 10.10?

Check the console.app for something suspicious entries. You can see in my previous post, that the lines 9 (and following) indicated my problem in the first place. Switching to a different computer might also work for you (if that is an option).

Having the same issue. Doesn't matter which back-up route i pick. iTunes or cloud. Same issue. Also doesn't matter which backup entry is selected. Something stalling it out at approx 10%.

Restore process to ios9 stuck at aprox 10%
