Your computer restet because of a problem

When trying to install the beta OSX my computer came up with an error "your computer restarted because of a problem. press a key or wait a few secomds to continue start up" it will then continue to reboot itself.

Any suggestions? I can't get it to load in safe mode either.

Sounds to me like a Kernel Panic.

Unplug all of you Devices from your mac would be a starting point. It could be a broken device driver.

I have no device physically connected to the MBP but still having this issue.. Help?

I have a solution that at least worked for me on my Late-2013 Retina MBP.

  1. Boot into Safe Mode (hold Shift during boot)
  2. Remove /System/Library/Extensions/SXUPTP.kext

I believe this is where it was - you can also just search for SXUPTP.kext

  3. Restart
