Why always showing "iPhone" carrier name on the left top corner? I have ATT carrier. I tried to reset network settings its works, but after reboot turns back to "iPhone" How to fix it? Cause i dont understand when good signal, when bad... when carrier avialable, when not...

Same issue, my carrier is o2 Germany.
Ok so here is the fix for my problem. After installing beta IOS 9 to the phone set it up as a new phone. Sign in to your icloud account and individully download apps and music you want tested on the phone and the carrier will stay. If restored from a back up the carrier will drop everytime. I hope this helps others with similiar issues.

Reset the network settings solved the problem for me.
Same issue, my carrier is A1 austria.
Airplane mode is showing correctly. Resetting network settings seems to fix this problem.
But after reboot it turns back to iPhone
I also had this issue but I had to turn off the phone because it was stuck on an app and could not do anything else. When I turned it back on the carrier name was back on. Hope this helps.
Try going to Settings, General, Reset, Reset Network Settings
