I am using 10.11 on my MBP Mid 2014 with Retina and the battery life on 10.10 was very good getting between 5-7 hours but on 10.11 only getiing about 3-3.4 hours of battery life.

Confirmed here. After that, battery life went up. Considerably.
Still, ordered a new battery for my late 2013 MBA, was I am down to like 9 hours from originall like 14.
