Sharing the Inapp purchase revenue with a user

Hello folks,

I am developing a "Perform and Earn" module in my currently running iOS app.

Perform: Any of the user could perform on my app and the rest can watch the performance through the live streaming.
Earn: The one who performing could earn from the gifts received by the watchers.

The watchers can purchase gifts from the store using Inapp purchase and gift them to the performer. The gifts are surely virtual like a rose stickers, a bouquet, etc.

I am aware about the Apple 70:30 ratio of the inapp purchase earnings.

I am planning to share my earning (i.e. 70% of total) with the Performer on some defined ratio (lets assume 40:30 for now) which i will call "Gratification".

The sharing of funds would be happening by direct account transfer, app will be asking the account details of the user while registering which will not be mandatory. User will be having an option to skip.

My query: Will it be fine with Apple if i do such "Gratification" inside my app. Is there any possibility of Appstore rejection??

Thanks in advance.

Any distribution of revenue outside of the app store is between you and whomever you

share funds. There is no mechanism in the app store nor in in-app purchases to distribute

revenue to anyone except the seller of the app and Apple for their 30% cut.

Apple Review is not here. Will your app be rejected due to this unorthodox model? Possibly.

The key thing to remember here is, there are 2 parties in this enterprise. You and Apple.

Monies paid to you, are your problem. If some percentage needs to go to someone else

it is your job to handle and account for that percentage. Which means YOU are responsible

not only for accounting but for tax purposes.

I don't think this will be a problem with app review , IMHO only. You may want to offer performers credit that they can exchange for gifting virtual gifts to other performers OR the cash back. App review will require that you have a publish a policy that prohibits inappropriate performances, a means of monitoring performances and a means of cutting off users who violate your policy.
