Hello everybody,
I'm a first time developer, learning Swift at the moment and I'm getting ready to submit my first app to the App Store, an iPhone only app. I was wondering about an issue I have with images in my app and whether I should worry about it or not at this point.
The app looks fine on the 5 series screen width, but for the latest ones, the 6 and 6 plus, the images get just a little blurry since I'm scaling the width of my image views according to the screen size. I have everything set up with @2x and @3x resolutions, but when, for example, a 100x100 image (on a 5C) streches to 128x128 (on the 6 Plus), while still looking fine, it isn't as sharp as everything else.
Is this grounds for rejection when submitting to the App Store? Does your app get rejected if it doesn't offer pixel-perfect graphics for every device?
I understand that, ideally, I would have everything look best on all screen sizes and I'm working on it, but I'm worried that I won't have the time to get everything done by the time I'll have to submit the app. (the app is supposed to be available in time for a certain event, so I have a deadline in that regard)
Thanks for your help and I'd be glad to provide any more details if needed. I would have attached some screenshots, but I don't think I can in these forums.
Kind regards,
Mircea
