Spotlight Natural Language Queries

None of the Spotlight natural language queries demo'd at the Keynote (weather, docs worked on yesterday, e-mail, etc.) work for me. Is this working for anyone else?

Fixed. Didn't have "Spotlight Suggestions" in the Spotlight panel in System Prefs.

Didn't fix it for me. I'm not seeing any of the new search features. The only difference I can see in spotlight is the ability to move the search window. I've tried turning suggestions on and off, but it makes no difference.

I havent been able to get this to work either. I already had Spotlight Suggestions turned on so I tried flicking the switch and no change.

Just updated to 10.11 Beta 2 but I still cant get any natural queries to work. Also tried to do natural queries from the Guest account in case it was a user profile issue but still no luck.

Same issue here. Updated to beta 2 and still the same issue.

Beta 4 now, and still the same problem. I've tried everything. Changing language, region, spotlight settings, re-indexing and.. everything I can possibly think of! Just won't work.

I hadnt been able to get any of the demos to work on Beta 1 through Beta 3 but it seems that they are working for me on Beta 4. I havent changed anything or removed any preferences and I can finally do natural language queries like "documents containing the word '...' " and things like "Weather in..." or "Stocks AAPL" which I havent been able to do so far. Oh and Spotlight decided to start reindexing all by itself after the update.

Have you tried deleting preferences and rebooting? Try getting rid of these:

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Spotlight.plist

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.suggestions.plist

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.metadata.SpotlightNetHelper.plist

Plus you could try some queries in Guest mode or another user account to see if its your profile.

Not sure what else you can try. Hopefully someone cracks it soon!
