What is bug_type 179?

Hi,


I have a tester who says my app keeps crashing on his device. For some reason no crash reports ever come through to iTunes Connect. I did finally get the user to copy and paste a crash report out of the device, but I don't know what to make of it. There is no stack track and it looks nothing like the reports I'm used to seeing in Xcode, but it does start with this text:


{"bug_type":"179","os_version":"iPhone OS 9.2 (13C75)"}


What is bug type 179? For that matter, what is a bug_type and where do I find a list of bug types and their meanings? I have never heard of this before, and all I could find by searching these forums, Google, and the Apple documentation is a couple of similar unanswered questions.

Hi Flarosa,


I've encountered the same issue and cannot find bug_type codes in the Apple Docs. Did you manage to solve this issue?

In my case it turned out to be caused by the app trying to use the camera after the user had revoked its permission to do so. I never found out what bug type 179 means or where it is documented.
