Need Eula Help

Hi ,

I have submitted the app on app store and they are asking fo these things .

We have not any privacy policy as such as of now .Isn't there any work around or any short methods to do this fastly -

During the review process we found that your app does not have the required user-generated content precautions enabled. It is necessary that you put all of the following precautions in place:

- Require that users agree to terms (EULA) and these terms must make it clear that there is no tolerance for objectionable content

- Use moderators to flag and remove inappropriate content and offensive users

- Users need a mechanism to flag objectionable content and report users generating this content

- Users need a mechanism to block abusive users

- Developer must act on objectionable content reports within 24 hours by removing the content and ejecting the user who provided the offending content

- Developer needs a method for ejecting users who violate the terms of the EULA

You can post your privacy policy on the app or, better, reference a website with your privacy policy. You can create a website through Google Sites for free. In the metadata for your app there is a place to insert your webiste for the privacy policy.

Here is an example of a privacy policy:

XYZ Software does not collect any personal information from any of your use of our Apps. If we have any of your personal information we will not willingly sell or give it to anyone, except if lawfully subpoenaed to produce it and then only after offering you a reasonable chance to challenge such subpoena if allowed by law.

Your rejection seems to be because of issues with Guideline 14.3: Apps that display user generated content must include a method for filtering objectionable material, a mechanism for users to flag offensive content, and the ability to block abusive users from the service

Add this to your app somewhere: "Offensive Messages: You may not use this App to send Messages that are offensive. If you receive a message that you feel is offensive, [record the full 7 digit ID of the sender - insert your method of identifying the post there] and use the 'Contact Us' button to send us an email describing the issue."

Add the ability to remove that post and block the user from posting more messages. In the notes to App Review tell them you have the ability to remove an offensive post and block a user.

Think about it - if your app is downloaded by a 12 year old who starts to harrass other users wouldn't you want a way of responding?

Hi Thanks for your reply ,

Can you please decribe more about [record the full 7 digit ID of the sender - insert your method of identifying the post there] and use the 'Contact Us' button to send us an email describing the issue."

Is the 7 digit something related to passcode or something else ?

However what we thought is something like this - We will put EULA on app start ,contact us - send the screen shot of message and email id of the user to admin of application .

If the post is found reported multiple times as offensive we will block the user and remove the message from server as well .

Thnaks

You need some way of identifying the offending message and/or the offending sender so you can deal with the issue. If the post is signed with a "Message Number" then that is the equivalent of changing my:

If you receive a message that you feel is offensive, [record the full 7 digit ID of the sender - insert your method of identifying the post there] and use the 'Contact Us' button to send us an email describing the issue."

to:

If you receive a message that you feel is offensive, record the Message Number and use the 'Contact Us' button to send us an email describing the issue."

In my case, all messages are automatically signed with a special user identifier number (it's otherwise an anonymous message). I (but only I) can use that identifier number to search for all messages from that user and to block that sender from posting any further messages. My identifier number is a random number posted to the user's iCloud Account key-value file when they first use the app.
