Issues waking when connected to external display

I recall having similar issues with graphics drivers and external displays with the Yosemite Beta.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Or have any suggestions on isolating the cause?

Thanks everyone.

Detail:

When the display is put to sleep when connected to external (both with clamshell closed and open) the Mac will not wake. It continues to provide power through USB devices.

Unplugging display connection and opening/closing lid has no effect.

Hard reset by holding down power button results in a restart which more resembles a 'resume' rather than a full restart.

I believe what I'm experiencing is the same as this issue (https://forums.developer.apple.com/message/13675#13675).

I have a Dell P2415Q external monitor, and the external monitor does not come back on what I wake the computer from sleep. What I found, however, is that the external monitor does come back on eventually, and that the time it takes for that to happen is remarkably constant. It takes exactly 110 seconds (1 minute and 50 seconds) in my case.

When I take a look at the system.log using the console, I see the following whenever the external monitor comes back on eventually:

6/21/15 7:13:33.000 PM kernel[0]: com_apple_driver_AppleUSBCardReaderSBC::setPowerState(0xa632c58f24ef9e3b, 0 -> 2) timed out after 100974 ms

Is that what you're seeing too?
