In the 10.10.x VPN dialog, there's a setting for Group. This is missing in the current dialog.
Not sure if this is why, but I set up a new VPN connection to our company VPN.

Never mind. User error. I don't do this often and forgot there are several TYPES of VPN, and the default was not the one I wanted. Works perfectly.
