I have my iPhone 6 registered with the UDID number. Go into itunes and option click restore to update to iOS9 and phone will not restore. Stops halfway through and now stuck into recovery mode.
It is now a paperweight.

Can you put it in DFU mode?
This may sound odd, but what method of connecting your phone are you using to restore? I have a MacBook (One) and if I used the Type-C Digital AV adapter, it failed every time. Using the straight Type-C USB3 Adapter, it worked.
I have the newest Macbook Pro Retina. I don't have USB-C to try on this computer. THe phone is plugged in through a lightning cable and have tried several different cables.
I have put the phone in DFU mode... Actually that is the issue its stuck in restore right now and won't allow any OS put on the device.
Try a different USB port each time. And, you might try opening x code to see if the phone shows up in devices and restore it from there . Have you also tried holding the power and home button together for 5 seconds?
Try with another cord too, I've resolved these problem changing cord on some cases.
Maybe your cord can charge correctly, but data sync and / or updates don't work correctly.
New cables. Rebooted the device several times. Re-downloaded the Apple iOS9 beta installer and tried that.
Phone continues to error out halfway through update.
Maybe with another comp?
Also have tried that.
Have you tried putting a clean restore from 8.3 on it?
Not sure if this is your case, but I've noticed that Apple's signature verification service doesn't play nice with enterprise proxy settings, and results in this behavior. Switching to a network with cleaner public internet access resolved the block for me.
I will try a different network.
I bricked mine too, I tried both different computers and lightning cables.
What I did to get it to work was to alt-click on the update button in iTunes instead of restore
