TestFlight is not working!

Most of my 200+ testflight users said they weren't getting notified or e-mailed about my new app version. So I tell them to check spam folder etc but even the website said they weren't notified. So I did what I thought might help and boy was I wrong on this one. I deleted and re-added everyone. Or I tried. It keeps giving me a generic error when I save the list: "There was a problem saving your changes. Please try again."

The thing that makes this so painful is Test Flight use to be so great before Apple bought them. Now you have to wait for a stupid app review for reasons I'll never understand. Nobody ever gets notified. And now it's totally broken. This is what I really love about Google Play. They give you a URL and you just e-mail it to anyone you want. And it works. So much simplier.

I don't think this will get fixed... I even tried getting tech support from Apple but the website said "We can't process your request." I'm not kidding. And no it's not my cookies or whatever your thinking. It's Apple's busted-up web services. And so here I am.

I'll be surprised if this actually posts to the forum LOL.

More information: It appears that the "Add Existing Testers" button is showing duplicate users/e-mail addresses. If you select ALL it will always fail. You then have to go through and find any duplicate e-mails and uncheck them. So that's the bug. These duplicates don't appear in the master list of users found in Users and Roles.

p.s. It's nice to see the forums at least work.

TestFlight has been *buggy* to say the least since Apple integrated it to the Developer Portal.

Today, I submitted an Internal build at 12.30 PST and 7 hours later, it's still stuck in processing without any feedback or method to fix it.

The deeper problem is with iTunes Connect running on top of WebObjects. iTC is frequently broken without any explanation from Developer Relations.

I've submitted rdar://26055692 to ask that iTC be ported away from WebObjects.

I'd recommend other developers that are frustrated duplicate that enhancement request, too.

Thanks for responding. I guess I can find a little comfort in that I'm not alone in my frustration. I've never heard anything good about WebObjects so your suggestion is probably a good one. I usually waste entire days dealing with TestFlight and Provisioning Profiles. And that's time that could be spent making my apps even better.

TestFlight is not working!
