Anyone notice that Thunderbolt Displays are not connecting to GPU / Video channel when plugged in? I'm runing into this problem on any Thunderbolt Display I connect my Late-2013 MacBook Pro running latest OS X developer 10.11.5 Beta 4 (15F31a). This seems to only now be broken in Beta 4. Previous builds are running fine.
USB and Ethernet ports on the Display seem to be connecting fine over the Thunderbolt connection. Video is the only dead channel.
RESOLVED: Re-ran SMC and NVRAM resets and the system is now fully recognizing the Thunderbolt Display and all ports are functional. 😀
NVRAM Reset
- Shut down the computer.
- Hold down Command, Option (left side), P and R keys while you switch on and continue holding them until you hear the restart sound a second time.
SMC Reset

- Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source and to your computer.
- On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift, Control, and Option keys and the power button at the same time.
