I had an app rejected, it current shows as "rejected" in iTunes Connect. I submitted an appeal here:

However, after I submitted it, I got a message "Please note that if you reject your binary in iTunes Connect, your app cannot be reviewed and this request will be canceled."
But the app is already rejected. Do I have to submit a new binary for the request to be reviewed or is this message just misleading?
