we are a registered company and have a developer account with that name. Our first app is a game and already in the App Store with the bundle ID com.mycompany.mygame1 - In the App Store it says Developer: mycompany
That is fine like this and for most of our games under development. But life would be too easy if no special requirements. Now we started developing a similar game as our first one for a wellknown IP (trademark). This app is very similar, however different music, partially new graphics and no IAP but paid version. We believe one of the two games (even some differences) will loose out, if they are published under mycompany. Many people will look what else this developer has made and if the understand, they might mostly go for one of the two games.
Our idea is, to publish it under a different name: mycompany2
Of course we don't want to register a second company with all the registrations to do, second accounting etc.; Ideally everything works via or existing developer account.
Is it possible to put the new game into the App Store and display another developer name? Do we need a new certificat with on mycompany2 and setup the bundle ID to com.mycompany2.mygame2
