Auto Trust Enterprise App Even if User Owned Device?

Hi,

I have read the following documents and it is not clear to me if it is possible to easily auto-trust an app if the device is user owned:

From page 3 of https://www.apple.com/business/docs/iOS_Enterprise_Deployment_Overview.pdf :

BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). "A BYOD deployment allows users to set up and configure their own devices. To gain access to corporate resources, users can configure settings manually, install a configuration profile [emphasis mine], or more commonly, enroll their devices with an MDM solution."

Would installing a configuration file or something else ensure that the app is trusted even if the device is personally owned?

Doesn't matter if the device is personally owned. Either the device is managed/enrolled, or the install requires manual trust.

In your other similar thread you said your company doesn't want either.

Recommend MDM (device management) for User Devices aka BYOD?
