Xcode does not recognise my developer credentials.

There is a back story to this in that I had previously responded to an email from Apple saying that I can no longer use an account name on my developer account. I spent ages changing details, getting no useful response from support (Ticket 1074894672) but managed to eventually get my original development profile working with the latest Xcode under El Capitan by mashing things up with a new Apple Id. This happened back in March.

Anyhow, today I made the mistake of deleting my Id from Xcode account preferences.

I tried to put it back but got a "Your Apple ID has been locked for security reasons. To unlock it you must verify your identity.

I went to verify my identity and it wouldn't let me. Unlock account says there is no such account.

So, I tried the alternate account that I had created (Becasue of the entirely useless response that I go from before) and it says go to use iforgot.

I went to iforgot and did the reset stuff.

Then I went back to Xcode and tried to enter the new credentials. The result? "Your Apple ID or password is incorrect."

So then I went to login in to the development portal.

That works fine and retains the new apple Id and the old team name. No problem.

I then figured that perhaps Xcode holds credential data in the app bundle and restored it form yesterday. No result.

So I restored ~/Library on a chance. No joy.

Then I looked for a way of redownloading a full developer profile from the portal. I cant find any method for doing this although I must have at some point as I ported a profile to my MBP.

This had all been happening on my Mac Pro. Now it has spread to my MBP.

My MBP, as of this incident, no longer lets me log in in Xcode. It was OK 2 days ago. It now says there is a server error and then that the account is locked.

Oh, and to add to the pain, iCloud has just asked me to use my usual iTunes/App Store account to log in and failed it with an "unknown error" in System Preferences on the Pro.

Anybody familiar with the works of Franz Kafka?

I am paying for this service and it is resolutely not allowing me to work.

Hi Tim,

Can you please file a radar at http://bugreport.apple.com and send me the number?

Thanks,
