Since Monday, I was able to record my MacBook's screen using apps like ScreenFlow 6, Voila, and even using the built in Quicktime Player X. Now not a single one of them works. For example, ScreenFlow will record the screen but not allow the editing of the files, while the files do exist in their root directory. Voila will record but have problems exporting. Quicktime wont even initiate the recording!
I know that with the third party apps it could very well be a matter of current incompatibility, but I have spoken with the developers of ScreenFlow and they have stated that they are aware of some sort of file indexing error in macOS Sierra. If anyone knows a workaround to this problem, please let me know. I depend on a few of these apps to make demo videos for an app I have been developing.
Cheers!
According to Telestream, they're working on getting ScreenFlow 6 working with macOS Sierra. https://telestreamforum.forumbee.com/t/188vcm/macos-sierra-10-12-kills-screenflow-5-what-about-6
