Logic Pro X Issues | MacOS 10.12 Sierra

I haven't tested third-party plug-ins and Logic Pro X with macOS Sierra yet. That said, with my previous experience with 10.10 and 10.11, many third-party plug-ins failed to validate until the vendors updated them. Is this the only plug-in that failed validation?

No, every plugin fails validation, but all componets are on their place. + everything worked a day ago (on Mac OS El Capitan).

+1. I have the same issue on macOS 10.12 Sierra.

I reported the same here on 1st day. Over on forums.macrumors.com, there's a guy who did a fresh install, added NI plugins and it all worked. He also took an El Cap to Sierra *upgrade*, and that worked too.

But good (unfortunately) to see that there are now two more with the same situation I've seen.

I completely removed Logic Pro X 10.2.3 and MainStage 3.2.4, and resintalled from the AppStore. Same result... :-(

I'm having the Same trouble with the NI-Plugins form Absynth.

Tried Reinstalling, both Absynth nad Logic Pro X, didn't help it.

Also tried to a manual Validation - that also did'nt work.

I think it's a somewhat common issue with betas, cause after doing some research

it popped that this was also an issue with previous OS X betas.

A smiliar Problem occured to me, trying to run the application Finale 2014.

It hase some certificate-issues. Also here a self-certificate wouldn't help.

don't think this is the same question as the el cap beta. There, the validation tool for AUs changed. Not so here, it's still version 1.61a. What the validation tool is saying (apparently) is that it can't open the component. That's weird, because it's there and other tools, non-Apple, so not Logic and not MainStage, *can* use the AUs where they are now.

What broke? Not sure... Your Finale issue - is that tied to Java? If so, it's not this issue.

I had this too, but updating to Logic 10.2.4 and Sierra dev beta 2 resolved it on the plugins I tested.

I'm having problems with Mainstage 3 and Sierra too. Crashes immediately.

Any one having issues with the latest releast? Thinking about updating now that the public beta is available. I assume a silent thread is a good thing...

Don't let the crickets mislead you...the beta when this thread started is not the beta out today.

I am a user of Logic Pro 9 and i face similar problems. I cannot create a new project and exporting audio, our bouncing a mix results in a total crash.

Is there any who faces similar problems and is there any other way than uopgrading to X or reverting back to El Capitan ?

My issue is after installing 10.12.1 and updating Logic X, my computer just crashes with the Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 interface attached. Nuked the .plists and such, contaced Focusrite service and they assured me Sierra and that interface were compatable, plug and play.. Apparently not.. I started up the Mac without the interface attached ans it was fine, plug in the inetrface, started to initalise core audio in Logic, then black screen, crashed... my old audio interface, a M Audio, I used as a comparison, it worked with no issues though for the system prefs, sound to see the interface I had to unplug and plug back in the interface.

So, basically I can 't work... I have read there are some issues with ceratin USB devices and such but I'm waiting for some form of resolution, like many other s are....

I have the same issue and don't know what to do anymore. Sent an email to focusrite support and never got a reply. Have you managed to find a solution?
