I've recently started having failures trying to deploy my app. After exhaustively searching for what might be wrong in provisioning profiles, I discovered by accident (had the iPad plugged in to charge) that the app deploys OK to the iPad.
In the developer portal, the Iphone and iPad are both registered and are part of the provisioning profiles that are created.
In the XCode Devices window, I see the device information for the iPhone and it matches the identifier shown on the portal.
Is there any other configuration or setup that I should be checking to see why my code won't deploy to this device?
The error is "the executable was signed with invalid entitlements". No errors are shown on the build, or in the capabilities tab of any of the targets.
I recently updated to XCode 8 (actually due to this issue, before discovering the device-specific nature of the issue I was hoping just a complete regeneration of all provisioning profiles and entitlement files using the new XCode 8 automatic signing features would resolve the issue).
