Some people are having trouble installing the Recovery Update from the mac app store. Here is the link if you want to install it manually:

Hmm and now that I got the RecoveryHDUpdate.pkg how do I install it opens as a folder when I click on it
Check whether a folder named 031-44517 already exists in Library/updates. If not, make it and then put the pkg in it. Restart the Mac and check for software updates. It should work now.
