Corrupt Installer

Downloaded the Developer Preview but I am getting the following error message:

'This copy of the Install 10.12 Developer Preview application is damaged, and can't be used to install OSX"

Circumventing that at the moment by downloading the Public Beta, however from what I hear it follows a different release cycle so I would prefer to get back to the developer preview if anyone has a fix for this yet.

Mid 2014 MBP

MId 2011 iMac

Both currently running El Capitan.

Additionally, I had similar issues downloading iOS10 using the profiles, however, I got around that by using the ipsw file and loading it from iTunes.

This is how you fix the installer error.

1. Go into recovery mode. To start your computer from Recovery, restart your Mac and hold down the Command and R keys at startup. Hold these keys until the Apple logo appears. After your computer finishes starting up, you should see a desktop with an OS X menu bar and an OS X Utilities window with the options listed above. If you see a login window or your own desktop instead of the Utilities window, it's possible that you didn't press Command-R early enough. Restart your computer and try again.

2. Open Disk Utility and click on your HD.

3. Then click on the first aid in the toolbar it should find a corrupt preference file.

4. Restart your computer and open the installer it should work now.
