Finder does not load folder/files

My Finder has become useless because it sometimes does load my folder/files really slow or it does't load or show anything and I have to restart the Finder everytime. I am now using "Path Finder" and this works without any problems.

Anyone experiencing the same problem?

Path Finder has a problem, too: In Iconview the container is flickering black when scrolling beyond the contents ("smooth-scrolling"?).

Yes I just noticed the flickering in the icon view too but I always use the list view.
