In 10.11 (15A178w) in Mail, I'm trying to add an SMTP server in Mail > Preferences > [account] > ...SMTP > Edit SMTP server list. But the +/- buttons at the bottom are greyed out.
Does anyone know of a workaround? Even a command-line hack?

I have a "similar" issue... Running Beta 6 now and the buttons aren't greyed out (anymore) but when I add one.... It keeps deleting it after a few seconds / a minute or so.
So I can add it... Select it as preferred outgoing server... But by the time i'm ready to send using the server it's gone! So it pops up the dialog to select a outgoing server :-(
same problem, you cannot use Mail in 10.11
same problem here. I can`t sore the smtp servers in smtp server list. It seems like they are wiped by a sync service, or so..? No fun at all 😢
