Xcode 8: IOS minimum deployment target 8.0

Xcode 8 shows a list of minimum deployment targets, iOS 8 being the lowest on the list. Does this mean with Xcode 8 I can no longer build for devices running iOS 6 and iOS 7? Or is this just a glitch in Version 8.0 beta 3 (8S174q)?

From the Xcode 8b3 release notes:

Xcode 8 beta 3 includes SDKs for iOS 10.0, watchOS 3.0, macOS version 10.12, and tvOS 10.0. To develop apps targeting prior OS versions, see “About SDKs and the Simulator” in What's New in Xcode, available on developer.apple.com or, select Help > What's New in Xcode when running Xcode.

As far as iOS 6 & 7, go, and given the low percentage of users still that far back, I'd suggest the best ROI is to focus on 8 & up these days. It's time...
