Using iPad Air with iOS 10 beta. Before, opening the smart cover would bring me straight to the home screen. On iOS 10, it just wakes the screen on the lock screen. Any way to make it skip to the home screen when open the smart cover?

yyes this was one of the great feature of the smart covert. You could open it like a book and everything was ready to be used. Now I don't see any reason for the magnetic lock. This is a major regression to me.

Welp, the smart cover began working as it should one day. It's brought me straight to the home screen as it always had previously so, yay.
