When beta 1 came it battery life was horrible! It improved each time with beta 2 and 3, but the beta 4 is horrible! I can be charged 100% unplug phone and not even have the display on and it runs down about 15% in less than 5 minutes... almost dead in an hour.
Anyone else having these issues or suggestions to fix it? I'm almost considering jumping over to the public beta to see if it is any better.
Dev Preview 4 works fine on both of my iPad Pros, iPhone 6S, and iPhone 6S Plus. Battery life is excellent. Have you reset all settings?
iOS 10 Beta 3 Just wok up, 25 min ago, battery 54% now 24% .. continuous use during the 15 min. Disaster

I´ve started with Beta2. Beta2´s battery life was good for pre-releases of IOS10...
I´m using an iPhone 6 Plus and iPad Mini 4.
With Beta 3 the battery of my iPhone was also good, but on my iPad it was horrible (dains within 1 day).
With Beta 4 my iPhone is good again, iPad Mini 4 drains like on Beta 3.... 30% in 2 hours...
So I can confirm this... but it is also normal in Beta releases.

I'm agree... It's a beta right, but it's ridiculous how the OS drains the battery. From 75% to 25% in less than an hour.... without touching the device. Ridiculous!!!
iPhone 6S. Not only is battery draining incredibly quickly, the phone will suddenly go from, eg. 52% to shutting down and only power-up when plugged in at which point it indicates and empty battery and then back to mid-charge a few inutes later.
Seems to be two issues. (1) Extremely rapid battery drain. (2) False out of power reading shutting phone down.
Beta 1 and 2 were ok, not great on battery. 3 was poor. 4 has a double issue.
On iPad Pro 9.7, same battery life issue without the shutdown problem.
Similar issue — though mine is rapid battery drain in certain segments of the battery percentage. For example, it'll drain rapidly between 90% to 60%, then normal, then suddenly die somewhere between 20% to 17%, prompting me to plug it in. The entire battery indicator is just really inaccurate and buggy right now.
same problem here iphone 6. 17 minutes since last full charge battery already down to 90%.
