Before I start writing about the error, I'm running on macOS Sierra and using Xcode 7.3.1.
So I'm trying to upload my app to the app store and when I start uploadingit to App Store, I get the error "ERROR ITMS - 90167 No. app bundles found in the package".
Is there any way to fix this error because I wasn't able to find any fixes? 😟
See if your app bundle matches with the app id you created in your developer account. Other thing you can do, is make sure to have an app ready in your itunes connect and then upload it to app store from your xcode. I recommend you follow some tutorial online! Good luck 🙂
It matches, I know how uploading works, I have done it many times. The difference is that now I'm on macOS Sierra and this is the first time I'm uploading an app on this OS and now It doesn't work.
Are you uploading for the store or for testflight?
Same issue here. My first upload since MacOs Sierra upgrade, now I too get the same error. And it is so non-discriptive. Drives me nuts.

I had got the same issue when using aplication loader to submit the *.ipa, but when I using xcode 8 to submit the app, it works.
BTW, I had upgraded the macbook to macOS Sierra too.
I guess my application loader version is too low (3.0) with macOS Sierra and Xcode8,
but where to find the newest version of application loader with xcode 8?
Since it is very slow when using xcode 8 to upload the app, I like application loader before upgrading xcode 8 and macOS sierra.
I've worked around this problem by keeping both XCode7 and XCode8 in MacOS Sierra, exporting the .ipa with XCode7 and uploading it with XCode8's Application loader. Not exactly the most elegant solution but it saved me for now.
