We have an off-sale app with a not cleared for sale IAP. When attempting to delete the IAP it prmopts for confirmation. When confirmed, it changes the prompt button to "removing." The page then reloads and loads the main iTunesConnect landing page (post login home screen).
The in-app purchase is not deleted.
If anyone ever purchased the IAP they are forever entitled to restore it. Therefore an IAP can't be 'deleted'. It can be removed from sale.
Thanks PBK. When I submit iTunesConnect tells me that I need to delete the IAP, but this might have something to do with the category. This was a Newsstand app that hasn't had a release since the removal of the Newsstand. If I get it figured out I'll post results.
