I want to name my new game as "Flappy Bird 2", my game is not at all a clone of the original flappy bird game, it is totally different from that,so would I be allowed to put my game to the app store with that name?if not then why?
thank you

Why would you want to do this ?
The name choice is blatantly confusing to your customers, assuming that the game is truely unrelate.
While I'm not well versed in the legal aspects it certainly makes it sound like you may be inviting charges of fraud and trademark infringement for implying that you are doing a offical continuation of Flappy Bird.
It would be highly unethical to try to capitalize on the name of the original Flappy Bird (not that the original was all that ethical in the first place). Someone did something similar with one of my apps and I had to get Apple to persuade him to change the name of his app.
My opinion is that for obvious reasons, you'd have a hard time just getting past submittal checks/review.
