An updated to the Microsoft Office 2016 Preview apps was pushed out this week. Since installing, I can't open the apps. It just shows the "Create New" dialog and hangs. I tried Excel and Word, no luck. It worked fine prior to the update. Anyone else experience this?

There are many problems with this update too nymerous to list. I'll start it off and others can chime in.
1. Dysfunctional select of text in Word.
2. Improper display of unicode characters accross all apps.
3. Outlook's display of Mailboxes does not diplay the Names of the folders. If you know they are there, you can click on them, but you can't seee the names.

I've hit #3 too. Guess it's a bad update all around.
I was able to go back to the original preview version and now they work. You can find it in cnet downloads.
Update: I spoke too soon. Installing the original Office Preview 2016 solved the problems I was having with Outlook. If you have problems with Excel or Word this may not work because the original preview version has expired so it forces you to update (the reinstallation may help you or not).
Office Preview 15.10 works. 15.11 crashes, buggy and features don't work. I deleted office 15.11 and when back to 15.10.
15.10 Everything works that I've tried, except search in outlook which I think is a spot light issue because the results end on the day El Capitan was installed.
