Hi. I creating an app that's using Yahoo's YQL weather API to present local weather. It is still unclear to me if I can use the api in a commercial app (paid app) or not.
Has anyone done this, or does anyone have any idea?
Thanks.

Hi Haymac,
According to Yahoo's terms and services for their Weather API it is only licensed for non-commercial use through the developer portal. However, you can submit a request to Yahoo for commercial use of the API. Here is the link: http://ypdb.force.com/YDN/WeatherAPIcommercialrequest
Also the source where you can find this link on Yahoo's Developer Support pages: https://developer.yahoo.com/weather/documentation.html
(Scroll to the bottom of the page above and look at the second to last section titled "Commercial Use".
Good luck!
If you haven't done so already, you might want to consider asking in a Yahoo forum.
You will likely get better answers there.
