When using the macOS Sierra Beta (Dev Beta 6), using a program such as Preview to edit a document on an APFS volume, and then save it results in a popup warning that the document "is on a volume that does not support permanent version storage." Will file versioning be implemented like it was on HFS+ volumes? Or will some different mechanism be used because of the copy-on-write capabilities of APFS?
Seperately, will the different encryption levels be available (no encryption, single-key encryption, or multikey encryption with per-file keys for file data and a separate key for sensitive metadata) on the betas?
