Distribution through email

Hi,


we've already distributed our app through a link over https in our local server. Now, we want to distribute it through email. From what I could search online, the only way to do this is by installing the file (attached in email) via iTunes. Is this correct?

Yes it is,


You can only install an iOS application outside the play store either with and itms-service link or through itunes.


You should consider using a private app store solution as it should be easier to manage and easier for your end users.
