Cannot zoom out in Storyboard for a macOS project

Does anyone else have this sort of problem that when developing for macOS, using Swift + Playgrounds that they cannto zoom out in a storyboard. It makes development quite tricky, the zooming options are all greyed out for me in the project. Can anyone tell me whats wrong?

Yeah, I'm wondering about that too. I've used iOS storyboards for some time, but I only started using Mac storyboards very recently, and I've noticed now that there's no zoom (no +/- buttons at the bottom, alt+scroll doesn't work and menu items are grayed out). Is this something that was just never added to Mac storyboards, or did it work before and is broken now?

same here!. It used to work for osx storyboards on yosemite and xcode 7.3.1. now in xcode 8 and sierra it doesn't anymore

the OS doesn't think anything is 'wrong'. It is merely following an algorithm.

Perhaps you've discovered the next genius hack 🙂

Just noticing this now too. Never understood why regular nibs still don't support zooming too.

Hopefully fixing this bug will now be higher priority since Xcode 8.3 project templates force a storyboard by default.
