My app, third wheel, shows up in the app store as "third wheel". But when it is downloaded, it shows up as "relationshipill". That was the initial file name I saved my project as but it was meant to be a working title. How do I change the name that appears on the home screen? http://imgur.com/a/PIQIW
App store name doesn't match name on home screen
There are three places that you can name your app:
- Project name in Xcode
- App 'display name' in Xcode/Info (for that target...also shows in Info.plist)
- Name used when adding app to iTunes Connect
Looks like you need to change the second one. Just search the project for: relationshipil
Be sure to do an option-clean build folder via Xcode to flush the old name and use the new. Sim/device test (delete old versions) before submitting.
