iPhone 7 downgrade to iOS 9.3.5

Hey,

is it possible to downgrade the new iPhone 7 to iOS 9.3.5. We need to wait that our QS have tested the new iOS 10 in our technical enviroment.

Kind regards,

Downgrading a device was never possible.

Hey,

thank you for the fast replay. Even if it´s actually signed by Apple?

Kind regards,

Uwe

Yes even if it is signed by Apple, you wont beable to downgrade. Also the iPhone 7 wouldnt be able to run iOS 9 because of the new A10 Fusion processor

Actually it was always possible. Downgrading was a simple method to change the version of your iOS device. Until the iPhone 7 downgrading was very easy to do, it simply involved a downloaded iOS version file, and the latest version of iTunes. Then you could downgrade it by doing what I tell you right now or by searching up a method on YouTube First connect your iOS device to your computer, and or laptop, and open iTunes Secondly press on the iPhone icon and press search for update, Next hold shift then press on restore whic h should've popped up by now It should take you to where you can choose the iOS Version, which you did download onto your computer/laptop, that you want to downgrade to , press on that version Simply just press OK and then press Update and Restore on iTunes and as soon as your phone turn on it should be on the version that you chose Sadly this method does not work on the iPhone 7 as Tygedb posted :( but now you know how to downgrade an iPhone, other than the iPhone 7

'restoring' to the release version the device shipped from, from a beta, with is not 'downgrading'.

A 'downgrade' is when you leave a release version and move to something earlier.

Restoring is possible, downgrading is not.
