As the title said, I cannot submit apps with the new GM version downloaded from developer.apple.com. Please check your version checking settings, iTunes connect team.
10.12 16A323 is NOT a GM version
I have the same issue with GM.
ERROR ITMS-90596: "Invalid Bundle. The asset catalog at 'Payload/**.app/Assets.car' can't be read. Try rebuilding the app with a non-beta version of Xcode and submit it again." (https://forums.developer.apple.com/message/180024#180024)
Same issue here with 16A323. No problems with previous GM version. May need to downgrade if you need to submit an app prior to the release.
How can I downgrade to the previous version since I can't download it from the Apple website anymore... T_T
We resolved this issue by upgrading to the production version of macOS Sierra. Good luck folks.
