Changing the "View as" device in a storyboard... nothing happens?

I tested and that process worked for me, but then Xcode rolled it's eyes back into it's head and would only display an empty editor - it won't even let me quit. The bugs seem to have bugs now 😟

Find any answers on this one? It does nothing for me either

Actually. I'm noticing it's not working in the "messages view controller" for an imessages extension. But if I add a regular view controller it does seem to work for me

The storyboard I was working with also was part of a messages extension target. It seems that that may have something to do with it.
