Changing the CPT in an active campaign

I increased the CPT in my campaign settings because I was not seeing any impressions. I then went to the keyword list and saw that the CPT next to each keyword was still for the original (lower) amount. The only way I could fix this was to stop the campaign and start a new one with the higher CPT.

This is not very user friendly. Probably needs to be looked at

I ran into this too. This is not an ideal method but you can export your keywords into a CSV file. Then add the Action column with UPDATE into the CSV file. Then import it back into your account.

Actually you can change the CTP for each keyword individually. It's not easy if you have a lot of them, but still it's the way of changin CPT without starting a new campaign.

Thanks. That a great way of getting the keywords into a list I can resue as well.

Agreed – there should be a way to bulk update bids in the web UI; but bulk imports are useful.

Be careful as changing the default ad group bid will not update your keyword bids, even if they do not have an explicitly set bid.

"Actually you can change the CTP for each keyword individually." No you can't, not today. Yesterday, I could.
