I'm interested in testing the Auto Advance features in Big Sur in our lab and wanted to see if there is any documentation on what is needed to be done on the ABM side and the computer side to set it up. Also wanted to see if there is any special network ports or other requirements that we need to have in place to make this work.

Hi there, the basic implementation should match the existing tvOS implementation. The key is documented here. For macOS you'll also want to include the await device configured key set to true so that you can setup an account on the device, otherwise the auto advance will pause at the Create a User Account pane in the Setup Assistant.

You'll likely need to wait for the MDM vendors to update their tools as they often filter the available keys to set in the cloud config per platform. If you are using a server that allows you to set whatever keys you want on any platform, you can include the two keys mentioned above to start testing now.
