I have my device registered, but every time I agree to the terms for the beta 2 update, it fails.
iOS 9 beta 2 update fails ota
That makes two of us. I'm going to try iTunes now.
Nothing in iTunes, and the ota fails everytime.
I mean downloading the latest and using iTunes to update it.
I've noticed that on my iPad...if you're able, download it from the dev center then in itunes hold down option and click "check for updates" an select the file you downloaded from the dev center and it'll work fine. Hope this helps.
Cool I was wondering if I hadn't setup some profile in my registred devices. I'm trying the IPSW now. many thanks for the reply
+1 ota fail (iPad air)
ota failing on iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2 after it screens through "Update Requested" assuming issue with Apple provisioning server to check if device is registered or not.
+1 ota fail on iPhone 6 Plus and 5s
ota seems to be working again on my end - 3:15pm est
OTA started working for me finally. Maybe it's just related to the load on the distribution servers.
UPDATE: I just downloaded the .ipsw file from https://developer.apple.com/ios/download/for my iPhone 5S and after installing it, I tried the OTA download on my 6Plus again and now it worked.
Not sure if one had to do with the other, or if the OTA bug was just resolved for me now, but either way I'd keep trying throughout the day.
Failed the first dozen or so times, then finally worked. Updating now.
Have you looked at the Software Update version in Settings on the iPhone?
Trying to update failed for me 3 times and then I looked at my current version and my iPhone 4S had already done the update automatically to iOS 9 beta 2.
Give it some time guys. Lots of people reporting the same issue and I had experienced this as well for about an hour or so. Most likely due to server overload.
Alternatively, if you can't wait, you can download the ipsw for install via iTunes: https://developer.apple.com/ios/download/
I'm still not able to see the OTA update for my 6 plus. I checked the version I have and it does not match the newest build code. I'll keep checking each day then use the Mac when I get home if it's still broken
